Decodo will also receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to provide the operation team information which would help us better understand your browser and operating system. With permission, Decodo will also do email marketing to your email account to send you news about our store, products and other updates via email with the consistency of up to twice per week.

Decodo online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. The information and data collected will be stored under Shopfiy’s data storage, databases and Shopify application. The data will be stored on a secure server behind a firewall.

 

Payment

When you opt for direct payment to complete your purchase, Shopify will store your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Purchase data will be stored to complete your purchase. Upon transaction is completed, the information will be deleted.

All the direct payment will be adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help to ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Decodo and the service providers such as Shopify.
